What was/is your favourite decade/s for rock music?
This is understandably not always a question with a straightforward answer, as there will be times when subjectivity comes into play and can affect both your mental and emotional being that can play an influence on your answer; it's a fluid situation.
For me, I can positively say that my favourite decades were the 70s and 80s. The 70s, this was a time of emergence, when rock music was in its infancy and there were a few bands that kicked things into gear and were quickly followed by others who wanted to play their part. The 80s was when maturity set in and production quality improved immensely, as well as the innovation and originality of both the music and players. Everything after that was just more of the same, with a few twists in the tail that not everyone was comfortable with.
